Sale of the Saint-Claude Medical Imaging Center to the IMDEV group

THM Capital Advisory advised the shareholder of Imagerie Médicale Saint-Claude on the sale of the center to IMDEV Group.

Company overview

Based in Saint-Quentin (Aisne), the center operates four major medical imaging systems, as well as the radiology department of Hôpital Privé Saint-Claude, an ELSAN Group hospital, and an outpatient imaging practice.

A few days before the transaction, the Hauts-de-France Regional Health Agency granted a new authorization for an additional cross-sectional imaging system, providing further capacity to support IMSC’s continued growth.

Seller

The sole shareholder of Imagerie Médicale Saint-Claude, a radiologist looking to prepare for retirement and transfer the business he had built over more than 25 years.

Acquirer

The seller selected IMDEV, one of France’s leading medical imaging groups, with 120 centers, more than 130 partner physicians and 800,000 examinations performed annually.

Objectives

Prepare the transfer of the business under the best possible conditions while ensuring continuity of care, with the radiologist continuing to practice for a further five years.
