Created by Silvina Ramella, a recognized scientist in organ transplantation and ex-CEO of a leading European company in the sector, Advanced Life Solutions is developing Perla®, a new liquid for the preservation and protection of grafts.

Perla® aims to improve the functional recovery of transplanted organs and to extend their lifespan.

The solution was designed to better protect more fragile grafts, especially from older donors.

Preservative fluids currently used in transplantation have existed for 30 to 40 years and are less suitable for this type of organ more”Sensitive”, which are now more frequently available.

Objectives

After a first installment in 2022, Advanced Life Solutions is raising €2.5 million (second Series A installment) to finance its development in Europe and the United States.

The two family offices already invested in the first phase (2022) are leading this round.
